About Me

Welcome to 11th grade at Animas High School! My name is Emma Boone and I am thrilled to be your 11th grade humanities instructor. I have worked in education for six years, five of which were spent teaching 8th grade math and science at Mountain Middle School.

I love teaching! I am very excited to teach a new-to-me subject this year and share my love of reading and writing with my students. When not teaching, I love trail running, aerial silks, rock climbing, reading, writing, drawing and hanging with my rescue pup, Chili Dog.
